For Champions Only
There will come a time in your life when you will have to encourage yourself. It will be a moment when you feel alone and in need of a reminder that the journey is all going to be worth it.
I just wanted to take this opportunity to tell you how much you are valued, loved and appreciated. Let these words encourage you when no one else in around to acknowledge the work, labor of love and sacrifice.
Always remember that you are on an amazing journey, let nothing stand in your way of achieving excellence! Dream BIG and Aim High, all things are possible to them that believe.
As you move forward take everything as a lesson to be learned (get it right the first time). You will never forget this place and our morning meditation with God. Look at all that you've accomplished in such a short time- your portfolio is looking better already, you’ve learned how to deal with multiple personalities, loss relationships, rejection, tremendous victories, new possibility and experienced the pressure of meeting the deadlines despite the challenges and the list goes on.
There were some amazing obstacles to overcome, and you did just that. Don’t live with regret; find peace in knowing that your steps are order and INTEGRITY AND CHARACTER are proven by our response to a situation.
Girl--hold tight to the power of influence and the confidence that comes from asking the right people the right questions! YOU HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED. My most trusted advice is this life-long lesson, STAY FOCUSED! When you put your mind to something, there is no stopping you—the secret to your own success is connected to it.
My prayers for your promising future, stay in touch and connected—God’s plan for you is greater than you can imagine.
"Only a man who knows what it is like to be defeated can reach down to the bottom of his soul and come up with the extra ounce of power it takes to win when the match is even."~ Muhammad Ali
It's all about the #Counterpunch:
They counted me out…but they were wrong! Has anyone ever told you that you weren’t good enough and you started to believe it? I remember working with an executive board of women who celebrated me when I was a member of the group, but when I was appointed to lead them they sang a different song. They tried to make me doubt my ability to carry out my assignment, I even started to listen and become insecure for a brief moment.
Then I decided to fight back, not with words with action. The more they opposed me the stronger I became, it took me looking out my window on the 17th floor of my executive suite to realize that they didn’t put me here, God gave me this assignment!! My counterpunch is ridiculous right now and I have all 10 of them to thank!!
You may have been knock down or even hit, but you’ve manage to get back in the fight. Be sure to document the journey, never allow your breakdowns, upsets, knock outs to cause you to forfeit the fight. Remember that God gave you the vision because He could trust you with it.
Share with the community how you quickly recovered and hit back.#LiveLikeAChampion

The effective leader is extremely conscientious of purpose, passion and mission. This leader desires to successfully operate in the organization and realizes that purpose, passion and mission are essential elements of a knowledgeable, informed and prudent leader. His/her purpose, passion and mission are always evident, even when he/she is silent.
Leaders play a very significant role in creating the environment within the organization. They often set the tone for the message that is shared with employees and their clients. I often call it “The Fragrance of the House”.
Many leaders are faced with the challenge of how to identify the right people to build a strong and successful team.
Here's The Solution:
Every competent individual is not necessarily the most compatible member of the team and the most compatible member doesn’t always have the greatest capacity to sustain the organization.
1. You must be clear about the mission and vision for the organization. During the selection process you must consider the competence of the identified candidate.
· What is their level of competence? You are looking for the quality of being competent; adequacy; possession of required skill, knowledge, or qualification.
2. Check the dynamics of the team you already have. Be sure that you are adding value and the ideal candidate brings a fresh perspective and energy to your team.
What is their level of compatibility? Are they capable of existing or living together in harmony? Will they be able to exist together with something/one else?
3. Look at past performance, it is an indicator for what you can expect in the future.
Do they have the capacity? Does this candidate have actual or potential ability to perform, yield, or withstand the task for the area of assignment?
Don’t force what doesn’t fit. If you realize that you have someone in mind and they have not met the aforementioned requirements, give yourself permission to keep searching. I promise that there is someone who is possess the essential qualifications to meet the needs of your organization.
Remember you'll find the right people to build a strong team. Enjoy the Journey!!
